survey of Del Dios Gorge Trail [September 25, 2010] N 33 2.295 W 117 9.410 entering Del Dios Gorge Trail [from southwest end] [2-295-9-410] 327-400 363-375 379-364 379-354 415-331 458-302 473-284 510-118 498-93 506-74 496-42 487-55 453-77 455-25-A a dirt road sharp R, we turn slightly L and follow the dirt road, which is signed as the trail 463-949 trail splits, we take the left fork to see a view point 2-463-8-905! view point with picnic table and two interpretive plaques end of this part, we go back [we take a shortcut which is too small to be mapped, but which is improved and obviously intended to be a trail] put in a reading at the split [split at 463-949] 452-918 back on the main trail 445-912 427-926 421-864 444-850 469-824 477-777 487-710-B we enter the steel-truss bridge 511-681-C other side of bridge 511-667 488-571-D gated access to the road [Del Dios Hwy] 474-533 460-519 448-496 455-450 447-409 451-325 453-289-E at that last call, we entered a dirt road, sharp L would go up to the highway 461-232 464-103 467-82 493-20-F fork, R goes to dam and is marked no trespassing, we keep L 504-1! since this part has already been surveyed, I stop calling lat/lon [we go beyond the dam and stop for lunch near both the lake and the dam] [we return by the same route] on the way back, we pass next to the dam at 6.63 miles back at the parking area 9.03 miles, about 12:50 PM
