A description, cue sheet and map for a mountain bike ride around Poway has appeared on my Web site for several years at www.efgh.com/bike/mpoway.htm. It hadn't been updated for several years, so I decided to give my new mountain bike a workout by resurveying this ride.
It turned out that a crucial part of the ride is no longer passible, and that two other parts have been posted with no-trespassing signs.
To add to my woes, I got a flat tire abount halfway around the loop, so I decided to abandon the ride.
The Web page will be updated in due course, probably after further exploration.
