survey of paths in Yuma

I'm at the Yuma Quartermaster Depot State Historic Park in Yuma, there is new
bike path running roughly parallel to Fourth Ave

it crosses the entrance to the park

I enter here at 0.06 and go roughly SE

0.20 the path turns R and crosses a canal on a wooden bridge

on the other side, the path turns L and continues to follow the canal

0.37 the part apparently ends next to the Pivot Point Conference Center,
I ride around to look for a continuation

a small road that was on my right before reaching this point is signed as
Jones St, a cross street that I'm riding approximately S on is called
N Madison Ave

I reach W First St and find no continuation, therefore I turn around and go
back the way I came

I return to the entrance to the Quartermaster Depot
N 32 43.642 W 114 37.464, elevation about 158 feet, mileage here 1.05,
I continue on the bike path

distance 1.11, T intersection on previously surveyed path [Yuma Crossing],
I turn R

1.16 to the R is an entrance to the parking lot, now barred by a locked gate

the path continues, apparently farther than it used to, into a park [Gateway
Park] along the edge of the river

1.64 miles, I come to the signed "end of Colorado River Trail"

there is an unpaved continuation farther US signed as Cottonwood Grove

I turn around and re-enter the paved portion

there's a mile marker here that says "2 miles"

the end is roughly under the old highway 80 and railroad bridges

I re-enter the path at 1.69

2.22 I pass the place where I entered the path

a side path from which I entered is signed as "to Madison Ave"

2.70 L into previously explored side path [East Main Canal] 43-674-37-929

continuation on the other side of the canal

Regional Medical Center is across 24th St

I use the pedestrian crossing to cross 24th St

[I turn R and ride down the sidewalk on the S side of 24th St toward the
canal]

6.29 27-300, I enter a driveway next to the canal with a gate and a bypass
around the gate

[some of the dirt is rather soft, especially near the road]

A continuation path on the other side is unpaved, as this one is

I turn R and ride along the road to try to find out which road this is

7.69 176-766! first intersection, this is 32nd St, to R is 21st Dr, end of
this part, I turn around and go back the way I came

I turn L into a previously surveyed path, cross the canal and come to a T
intersection 9.56 miles 41--311--38--407 [change to 41-311-38-406 to match
previous reading]

I turn R and go US to explore another path

9.78 469-469 the path comes to the end of a cul-de-sac and continues on the L
side of the street

this street is 20th St, the first intersection at 9.80 is with 17th Ave

0.25 468-953! the path turns R and emerges on W 20th St, across from 23rd Dr

end of this part, I turn around and go back the way I came

that turnaround point was just about 1/2 short of a busy street signed as U-95

[I go N on the E Main Canal path]

[I return to the truck via the Colorado River Path, stopping in at
West Wetlands Park to take some pictures]

I am driving by the Airport bike path, I'm now going S on Ave 2E,
the path seems to be unchanged
